I think what this comes down to is assumptions.  There are development houses that managed to land themselves large amounts of venture capital or financing to fund a large staff, advertising, etc.  I wonder if Lodsys makes that assumption about all iOS developers – that we all have large staffs and lots of extra funding sitting around, or possibly an insurance policy, and if they shake each of us hard enough, we’ll cough up a little.

So in the hopes of never hearing from Lodsys, I’ll be happy to announce that Powermad Software has no venture capital, no financing, and no advertising budget.  There is no pot of gold at the end of this rainbow, only a cartoon mouse.  We are the Power of Small.
